Jack W. Ross Youth Philanthropy Scholarship

Scholarship Overview

Mission & Purpose:  In 2024, the Ashtabula Foundation received a bequest from Jack W. Ross to establish the Jack W. Ross Scholarship Fund for educational scholarships “to be awarded to deserving high school seniors graduating from an Ashtabula County High School and residing within Ashtabula County, Ohio”.  Mr. Ross was a prominent business owner and community member, owning and operating the Jack W. Ross Funeral Home in Ashtabula (which later transitioned to become known as the Ross-Billman Funeral Home). The mission of this scholarship is to recognize students in the Ashtabula Foundation Youth Philanthropy program who demonstrate compassion, service, resilience, and a commitment to improving our communities.
