The Ashtabula Foundation hosted a county wide Youth Philanthropy Recognition Luncheon this morning at Sheldon Calvary Camp in Conneaut Ohio. Over 200 students from all ten high schools in the county participated in the program this year and distributed a total of $50,000 in grants funds to local nonprofit organizations! Special thanks to our guest speaker, The Honorable Judge Albert S. Camplese of the Ashtabula County Court of Common Pleas Court who delivered an inspirational message of the philanthropic support our students provide to our county and the important work of our Juvenile Court system. Many thanks to our students speakers, Morgan French of Edgewood High School and Elizabeth Ducro of Saint John Schools - thank you for sharing your unique perspective and valuable insights on philanthropy.
