2010 GRANT PROCEDURE The Board of Trustees of The Ashtabula Foundation has determined that although the economy shows signs of improvement, grant funds will remain limited for the foreseeable future. Therefore, the Board will continue the grant procedure established in 2009. The Board will again accept Letters of Intent from 501(c)(3) organizations in Ashtabula County seeking grant funds from the Ashtabula Foundation. The Board will review and consider all Letters of Intent at the same time. It is the Board’s intention to focus its grant making assistance to the humanitarian needs of those in crisis. A Letter of Intent will be accepted from all categories of grants, i.e., Recreation/Conservation; Education; Human Services; Arts/Culture/Historical; Religion; and Community Development. Please do not send a full grant application at this time. After reviewing all Letters of Intent, your organization will be notified if the Board will entertain a full grant application. Letters of Intent should be submitted to the Ashtabula Foundation no later than February 1, 2010. The Letter of Intent should include the following information:
